T.I.S.I. (NZ) Sangam Incorporated

The Then India Sanmarga Ikya (NZ) Sangam is an organisation that

has been setup to bring together people of South Indian descent

living in New Zealand.  

It is a representative cultural body for South Indian people, and membership in the main is made-up from the Fijian diaspora.    


It's main objective is the promotion of South Indian Culture, Traditions and Languages.  The organisation is structured along the lines of the T.I.S.I. Sangam in Fiji.


The word Sangam signifies a number of things including unity, togetherness, and a movement of people.

The Sangam has been active in New Zealand for over two decades.  The first group was formed in Auckland in 1988.
